The Great Salt Lake Fringe is a performing arts festival! Over two weekends, we showcase 20 performing artists and groups featuring theatre, dance, music, magic, storytelling, and more. Fringe shows are original, uncensored, and unadjudicated.

MKP presented local actor and writer Carleton Bluford's critically acclaimed play to The Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival in July of 2025.

1978, Utah, when a return missionary meets a new friend, talks of life, love, race and afterlife take unexpected turns for both while they grapple with their own faith and fathers.

 

THE PRIESTHOOD by Carleton Bluford was developed by Plan-B Theatre in several private table readings and as part of the Script-In-Hand Series in 2017.
“Living in a time as separated and divided as this, I genuinely hope that it’s nice to witness two humans on opposite sides talking across the table with some brevity and hope.
